Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia she is an Spanish Flamenco music singer. As a teenager she sang with traditional as well as popular music. Her musical interests have expanded to include hip-hop and soul. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitar and famous musician has described the voice of the new artist as sweet and sharp and grit. El Mal Querer was her major commercial and critical breakthrough in the year 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist, it topped the Billboard charts of Latin Pop Albums and she was awarded the Grammy. In 2021, her single La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with numerous artists such as Cory Henry, James Blake and others. The album was released in the month of March 2022, following a performance of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing on her own on the show. Motomami was the only woman ever to be the recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times as well as the three Latin Grammy Awards.
